Review on FIIL T1XS Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Earbuds 🎧 - Waterproof Earphones with Microphone for iPhone & Android by Asia Newell

UPDATE: I've ordered a third pair of these headphones - only to find that they have the same issue with the "tap" control meaning they just not work. Sent them back to Revain and took another star off. If you want a fiil that sounds great and is ready to play out of the box, get the T1X, not this one. ORIGINAL REVIEW: First off, let me say that I LOVE the sound quality of both the Fiil T1X headphones and these T1XS headphones. Not only do they have a good mix of bass and treble, but the T!Xes are the LOUDEST headphones I've ever owned. They actually have me turning down the volume on my phone and computer to keep from blowing my head. I love her. My issue with the T1X headphones is that they are too big for me to wear comfortably. About an hour after listening, I have to take out my headphones because my outer ears are getting tired. So I decided to try the T1XS ("Xtra Small") headphones. I was not disappointed with the sound of the T1XS - in any case, the balance and clarity are even better than the T1X. Since I mainly use them when I'm sitting at the computer, they are quite loud, but they don't reach the maximum volume of the T1X. They also sit much better in my ears and even allow me to use the included "hooks" so they stay in my ears better when I'm exercising or moving around. In terms of sound, I would recommend the Fiil T1XS headphones. everyone and happily give them 5 stars, but there is a very big problem: I can't find a pair that works properly. I've had two T1XS pairs in two days, both of which are on the road. Revane as we speak. Why? Because the first pair came with the correct DOA headphones. And the second pair, while they sound great, can't be tuned in any way. The fiil-touch control system, which was weird in its best days, just doesn't work on this second pair of T1XS. I can't turn the headphone volume up or down with Phil's touch system, nor can I get them to change tracks. All they do is answer or hang up the call and I don't use my headphones to make calls. If you want to boost the bass or change the EQ in these via Phill's phone app, you're out of luck: as of this writing (April 2nd, 2021!) the Google Store version of the app (which was awful anyway) no longer exists. I've heard there's an independent app that works with these headphones, but can't remember what it's called. Honestly, and despite my disappointment, I'm still tempted to try again to get a pair of T1XS that can do everything these buds can (and do what my T1Xs do without squeaking). a pair of headphones - they will be the perfect headphones. But for now, the Fiil T1XS TWS headphones are the best headphones I've found and I can't recommend buying them.
