This clock is exactly what I've been looking for for years but couldn't find: a night clock that's big enough to be easy to read and looks nice at night when it's quite dark. This watch has a particularly nice layout on the large LCD display, which even shows the temperature and the "comfort index" (in case you're interested). It comes in a variety of colors, but the LCD display is the same for all: a light orange background with black information labels. The snooze button is on the top, while the clock and alarm are set with mechanical switches on the back of the device. I was very pleased with both its performance and looks and was happy to pay a little more than some other night clocks for its various features. They're too big to be considered a travel clock, although I think if you really want to travel with them you can. But most of all, it's a bedside home clock that's both attractive and easy to use. And yes! There is no light in the room at night. You just touch the snooze button on top and the backlight turns on for about five seconds. And to top it off, the device connects to any of the North American radio stations and instantly sets the time for you and keeps it accurate! (In fact, you never have to set the time yourself!) Great bedside clock!
