Before I start, let me say that I love it. I think they cost too much and I'm glad I bought them on sale (still overpriced). So, in the last 5-10 years, there has been an alarming trend in shoes. They were made very cheaply. Cheaper than they already were, and that doesn't mean the purchase price has gone down to reflect the quality changes. Let me explain: these shoes are a perfect example of cheap shoes. The outsole is not made of natural rubber but of soft and lightweight foam. This makes the shoe very light, but drastically reduces the lifespan of the shoe. There are still real shoes with real rubber in the soles and treads that last for years. That's not it. Pros of this shoe: Lightweight. The foam is very light and comfortable to walk on, and the foam adds cushioning that puts me in a comfortable position. Surprisingly comfortable compared to most standard shoes. I compare them to what Walmart offers because they are very close in workmanship even though they cost more. The general build quality seems to be pretty good. We'll see how they hold up over time, but they're well made. Cons: Foam midsole and tread. In everyday life, they probably won't last long. Walking on concrete and asphalt drastically shortens its lifespan. Price! I bought it on sale for $25.99 but the regular price is an amazing $35.99! That's good, but with the cost-cutting measures they use to make them, they just don't cost that much. For a little more, you can buy real rubber tread shoes that last a while. do I recommend them? I'm not sure yet. The normal price is too high to pay for them, but the selling price is ok. I like them, but durability is a key factor when buying shoes. I have a pair of shoes that are almost 3 years old, cost $40 and will last a long time. I also have a pair of foam soled boots with tread that have lasted several months with daily use. Time will tell how they hold up as I mentioned earlier. I will leave them 4 stars because they are good for the price I paid but I will update them after some time.
