My 12 month old son has been teething for a few months now and he seems very interested in this toy. The cookies are really fun for adults but are the perfect size for him. It's not heavy enough to take his shirt off and strong enough that he can't bite off a single piece with his 4 teeth. He also likes to chew pearls. What I like best is that they attach to his shirt and prevent the beads from falling to the ground while walking. We use this toy a lot more than other teethers that he can throw on the floor right after handing it over.
