Charming toy! On arrival I put it in the dishwasher before giving it to the child and it cleaned up super. My son loves the texture and loves to chew on it! I think it should have fit in the cue ball. When the thread gets wet, the knot will untie and the end of the knot will come out. My 12 month old son has been teething for a few months now and he seems very interested in this toy. The cookies are really fun for adults but are the perfect size for him. It's not heavy enough to take his shirt off and strong enough that he can't bite off a single piece with his 4 teeth. He also likes to chew pearls. I've seen negative reviews about the poor quality of this product and I just don't agree. I was really impressed with how good the teether is. The biscuit is heavy when clipped into a child's shirt, but I don't mind.
