No holes in the bottom

I bought these to go on an advent candle holder that has metal spikes sticking up that hold the candles on. Typically votives have a hole or metal piece in the bottom you can remove to use the hoke hole but these didn't. I still used but had to drill my own holes.

Pros

The votive shape makes them easy to place in any candle holder or display

Cons

May produce black smoke when burning
