These are fantastic ceramic brakes from Bosch! I installed them to replace the stock brakes on my 29,000 mile Jeep Patriot 2106. Jeep uses the cheapest junk for most of its components, so I went with a quality Bosch ceramic brake. The plastic pad that comes with the brakes simply slides on, not snaps open. Therefore, only use these during installation after you have already installed the new brakes in the brake caliper. I actually had to hit the brakes hard shortly after installation to avoid a car crash and the ABS worked and held up incredibly well! I'm impressed and your safety is worth the extra money!
