As much as I tried to ignore the whiners and whiners I had some doubts before ordering this cable. Now that I have it in my hands I can say that the cable works as advertised and appears to be of good build quality. Those who say that there is noise when the cable rubs against itself are correct. This is not a problem for me as there is not much friction here and any background noise is really minimal. I think a more traditional rubberized (not braided) cable would get rid of the noise, but it also has its downsides.
