Not the best. I was initially skeptical about how it fits into the CD drive and was pleasantly surprised to see that it fits snugly and stays in place. The mount itself holds my iPad Mini well, but isn't too tight. However, give up hope that your device will stay at the desired angle unless that angle is facing down. The main reason is the small ball joint that the assembly rests on and its woefully weak clamp ring.
