It's a good hub and it works pretty well considering Samsung's DeX is a bit quirky but I REALLY wish they did at of the development would have thought a little more deeply. There are two SD card slots - one for large cards (or adapters) that almost nobody uses anymore, and one for ordinary small cards. But how often do you have to read a map? Most of them are deployed and remain in one device. They are too small and easily lost to be used for data transfer. What you need are full-size USB slots and an audio jack for wired headphones, and there aren't any. This gadget has ONE full size USB slot. I need to use this for the mouse transponder. (I know I could use a bluetooth mouse but there are a lot of reviews of how people find it annoying and knowing how snazzy bluetooth is I believe it which is why I bought a transponder style mouse bought.) There is a micro USB. However, if you're using the HDMI port to connect an external monitor, you'll need to use the micro-USB slot to power this hub. When I want to use a flash drive, I have nowhere to plug it in. Likewise, my Samsung S7 tablet does not have an audio connection. I have wired headphones that I like and would love to use if there was only one connection. I'd say if you're looking for the perfect hub for your DeX device, look for one with two or three full-size USB ports and an audio port in addition to HDMI and a card slot.
