Review on πŸ”Œ ZAGG Rugged Book Pro - Magnetic-Hinged, Multi Pairing, Durable Stand Case & Detachable Wireless Backlit Keyboard for Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch [4th Gen 2016] & iPad Air 2 - Black by Donny Collins

One of the best if not the best Zagg product.

I was hesitant to purchase this case after reading bad reviews of other Zagg cases with poor build quality. I've been using it for almost a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The magnetic hinge works great and is my favorite feature. It's easy to disassemble and put back when I'm done working in tablet mode. The continuously adjustable footrest is very practical and has proven to be reliable despite heavy daily use. The modest loop on the back holds my Apple Pencil pretty well. He's holding it and my pencil hasn't fallen out yet. The keyboard works well for its size and there is no noticeable Bluetooth lag. You have to wait a second before you can print while the wireless connection is established after opening the case. Def is not as fast as Apple keyboard. I can type a decent clip with a smaller layout, and the keys feel pretty solid. As a bonus, the pencil can rest comfortably on magnets just above the number keys at the top of the keyboard while typing. The keys are well laid out and the trade-offs well thought out. The battery life is impressive. I haven't had to charge it for several months and it will probably last a year or more with no problem. The only downside is the extra weight and bulk. But I'd happily trade that for the convenience, features, and protection this case offers.

Pros
  • Computers and Accessories
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
