I originally wanted to put my baby in cloth diapers, but only after they were big enough to fit. I have now ordered it on the recommendation of a friend who is both chemically affine and environmentally conscious. My baby is now 7 months old and big enough to wear cloth nappies but I don't want to switch to a new one because I am very happy with how Bambo nappies work. She never had a rash. Not once did I "blow out" (can you think of a better term for it? lol). And (ready for the TMI portion of this review?) I was stuck in traffic one day and REALLY needed to pee and was able to use one of these as a last resort. They've made some improvements to them recently and now they've already taken off the inner wall on the sides and the strap is a bit bigger which shows if it's time for a change. They are also super soft. Even my mother, who swaddles many children and considers herself an authority on the subject, advised me against using cloth (she used to insist, especially at night) because she couldn't believe how well they treated my child. . very light skin. They may not be the cheapest option, but I have peace of mind knowing that 1) they are the safest possible one-time option for my child and 2) they won't end up in a landfill until the end of time, everyone worth cents. Besides, they just work.
