Installation is easy but excruciating if you are new to changing controls. The grips feel comfortable even after 3 hours of riding. They are NOT soft grips, rough and very grippy with texture. I put leather piping on my bike so I don't notice the grip so much. But the 1,000 miles I've ridden on the non-leather grips have been perfectly comfortable for me. And that apparently invalidated the price of every first batch of Harley cranks. Garbage grabs on Harleys cost the same, and upgrades from Harleys easily cost over $100. You won't regret buying these Avons.
