Review on KECC Compatible With MacBook Air 13 Inch Case (2010-2017 Release) A1369/A1466 Italian Leather Hard Shell Keyboard Cover Sleeve (Dark Blue Leather) by Tammy Campbell

I ordered a dark blue "leather" case for my 13" Macbook Air. When it arrived the top of the case was torn in half (it says Leather but the underside of the top cover is cheap black plastic). See attached picture. Also, the blue carrying case had clear signs of wear on one side. Not sure if I received one that was returned by another customer and as new has been resold - or if there is a problem with the manufacturing process Screen - had a very rough edge - as if carved from a finished piece by someone who did a very shoddy job I immediately processed a refund/exchange Revain requested.I wanted to see if it was just an accident or if it was just the standard quality of this particular item.I wanted to give them another chance because the price of the case was about what I wanted, the finish and 'skin feel', and the bottom of the case that wraps around the bottom of the laptop seems to match. To Revane's credit, I requested a return on Thursday evening and the replacement item arrived on Saturday afternoon. Revain does a great job with their easy return/exchange products. Well the new item arrived today and it wasn't torn but the top cover took a very long time to install as it wouldn't fit around the top of my laptop. Trying to connect it without damaging the top case or my laptop was a delicate act to say the least. In the end it hooks up and looks good. After installation, the bottom of the case spanning the bottom of the laptop was fine again, but the top edge looked very poorly finished - again, the part that wraps around the top of the laptop screen looked very poorly finished . (see image). The small carrying case looked like new this time and protects the laptop well when traveling. I removed the keyboard cover about five minutes after putting it on. It is very loose fitting and I made too many typos and was disappointed with how loose the fit was. He moved a little, which drove me insane. Overall I would give this case two stars out of five. Yes it is cheap but the quality just isn't there and this was not an isolated case as both cases they sent me suffered from the same fit issues.
