Review on 🚀 20 LED Astronaut Spaceship Rocket String Lights for Children's Room Decor or Holiday Parties – Nursery, Kids Room, Garden, Patio, Christmas – Warm White by Kawaguchi Burgess

My son was enthusiastic about these lights. We recently renovated his room in space. They seemed perfect with good reviews. I liked that they were LED and had USB. We bought them in October but only recently got around to finishing his room. We attached them to his Sims and plugged in a USB port so he could turn them on at night. Within 12 hours, one of the lighting covers fell off along with the battery pack cover. During the next 24 hours, 3 lamps did not light up. Tonight (less than a week after turning it on) only one light came on and my husband noticed that 2 bulbs were dimmer than the others. On closer inspection these 2 bulbs have blown and appear to have started to melt. I'm genuinely disappointed and grateful that my husband noticed. It could have started a fire right next to my son's bed. As far as I know, LED bulbs don't get hot enough to cause fire and melting, which has happened with these bulbs. My only guess is that these are not LED bulbs. while I'm finishing our son's room so I can't return them for a refund. I'm really disappointed in our experience with these lamps. Be careful if you intend to use them at night and especially in a child's room.
