Did "good" work for my purposes. Used on the (7) edges of outdoor curtains to allow the bungee cord to pass through the floor (to prevent over-inflation). I didn't cut the fabric first and it cut right through, just not quite clean. Only a few strokes were clean, full circles. Some of them didn't fully fold the metal either. If you have a strong grip you might be able to get clean cuts, but that's not me. Easy to use but you definitely need a pretty good grip to seal everything. Have small scissors handy - I used cuticle scissors to clean up cuts. Time will tell how well they hold up.
