Review on 💡 Furman Power Conditioner: Black, Standard Strip (SS6B) - Superior Plug-in Solution by Fred Novak

I bought this for my MoFi player which was plugged into a new but cheap surge protector I had laying around. Before I switched to Furman I had hum issues which I attributed to my Yamaha HS5 powered studio monitors which I'm using as an intermediate stage until I get more powerful speakers and an amp but I'm not sure I need it. do it now so soon Immediately after replacing everything with these Furman surge protectors, I noticed immediate improvements. No more hum from poor grounding, no more pops when I turn on the speakers, and I have the not accidental benefit of being able to turn off my phono stage, which has no power switch and stays on 24 hours a day. /7 else. A year and a change later, however, I'm starting to have some problems. I had to remove the power supply from this strip because the hum was back, and in a big way. I don't know what happened but I can no longer connect the amp to the same band as the speakers. These connectors are not isolated to avoid hum. I'm not sure if I can recommend this for sound tuning. I also wish it wasn't black.
