Overall the roll up puzzle mat works well. We were able to unroll the partially assembled puzzle with relative ease, and it stayed intact after we moved it and unrolled it on the new table. The small main problem arose in relation to the remaining individual parts. The puzzle we put together took up most of the board, so most of the remaining pieces were close to the edge of the mat. We found it very difficult to roll the rug tight enough to prevent all the pieces from falling out at the top, bottom or open end. A few individual pieces that were the focus of the puzzle stayed in place well. Not sure how to solve the problem, maybe a more solid seal than two straps? Or just adding a little pocket for the pieces could solve the problem, although you'd still have to turn them right side up again when you throw them away. Overall, this product works well and the issues I'm having are probably visible. and other puzzle mats. If you collect a lot of puzzles, but want to move them to different places, this product and a small bag for additional pieces will help you.
