Review on 🚂 BRIO World 33889 Crane & Mountain Tunnel: Exciting 7-Piece Train Accessory for Kids 3+ years, Multi by Aaron Jones

My 3 year old was immediately mesmerized by this mountain tunnel! Although we have other plays, he prefers to let the eight move through the tunnel because of the noise. We have a motorized locomotive, so he looks into the tunnel to see the train go by and turns on the sound effects. Overall I can recommend this part, however it could be improved. There's a button to turn on tones, but you can't choose which tones. My 3 year old likes the button to make a "chu-chu" sound every time. Sometimes he gets frustrated when mining or engine sounds come up instead. A separate button for the choo choo sound would be an improvement! Also, I agree with some of the other reviewers that the Trestle tunnel is finicky and would be much better if there was a way to connect tracks there. Because the slightest touch throws them off balance and then the train gets stuck. I would love to glue the traces, but I'm afraid I might ruin them if I don't line them up perfectly. Another problem is that the crane rotates very slowly and the crane arm does not move up and down, only rotates. My son intuitively wants the crane arm to tip over and has been trying to force it. It hasn't broken yet and I think it will get used to the movement. I recommend getting a glowing Brio Gold truck and engine with an engine. Really fun and there are two locations on the mountain for a load of gold or coal, but that's only one. These too are subtleties. All in all it's a very good addition to our circuit and my son loves it a lot.
