Benefits: Non-stick, heats up and cooks quickly, looks great, easy to clean, comes brand new and sealed. Cons: Gets hot after long-term use, even the handle to lift the lid may not be safe for little helpers, no temperature control. The recipes in the instruction manual are vague, none of them mentioning how much batter to use. Tips: Keep it away from the little ones as it gets very hot. a full tablespoon of car batter (tires won't be super defined, but you won't have tons of extra spills all over the place). I used silicone tipped tweezers to remove the machines and that worked best). Conclusion: I love this waffle maker and will definitely keep it and use it again. I still recommend being very careful if you have kids willing to help, because the heat is no joke! But it's fun and something different.
