I had one of these toys growing up 25 years ago and loved it. My parents bought this for my one year old daughter and it was a bit of a disappointment. For the beginning. I really like that it has such a variety of animals. Having two faces filled with individual animals is a great idea! On the other hand, the toy starts talking as soon as you let go of the handle, so the talker tries to speak through a very loud spinning noise, making it completely unintelligible. Often times, the narrator will finish the script before the toy stops spinning, so you don't understand what is being said. It's really amazing as the speaker is also a lot louder than I was hoping for and yet it's too quiet to compete with the mechanical noise of the machine. This defeats the purpose of the toy, my daughter and I loved hearing the sounds of the animals but we had to keep repeating as she couldn't decipher what was being said. It's also a lot smaller than I had hoped. But nuts are much less of a deal breaker. I would return it if I could but my parents bought it 2 months ago so they could get it for my daughter's birthday last weekend. When we opened it, it was too late to return it
