I've been using the Wander Strap with my iPhone 7 plus for about a month. To be honest I really like this phone accessory and can't imagine going back to the phone without it. Here are some examples of how I find it useful. I'm a man and I carry my phone in my pocket. With a short tether attached to the phone, it's much easier to get the phone out of your pocket (especially with a silicone case that tends to snag on fabric). I let the strap hang a little, that's stylish and doesn't bother me. Placing your phone on a counter or bedside table may cause the strap to hang over the edge. This makes it easier to access the phone quickly (perhaps to turn off the alarm clock in the morning?). I live by the lake and spend a lot of time by the water. I'm not really worried about dropping my phone in water, but when I'm shooting over water I wear a wrist strap. This is good security and can also help stabilize the camera. I will say, as other reviewers have pointed out, that the strap can be a little larger if you have large hands. Finally, I recently visited Disneyland and the band on my wrist allowed me to use my phone to record videos of some roller coasters like Splash Mountain. I've taken some great shots that would not have been possible without the tether. I lost connection to the phone once, but it stayed on my wrist.
