It's worth it! I rode through the mud in the fall and my button hasn't worked ever since. Then, about five months later, my watch got stuck on a pole and the bracelet broke. After using duct tape to hold my watch together for a month and not finding anything cheap enough to replace, I decided to buy one. After removing the old straps to put the new ones on, I was appalled at the dirt and grime inside. I cleaned all the crevices with a cotton swab and toothpick and when I put the new straps on I was thrilled to find the button on my watch working again! The straps feel the same as my old ones. The only difference is that the buckle is stainless steel instead of black. The kit includes everything you need to swap out the straps. I had to remove a small piece of plastic from one side of my watch to attach the straps. There is a very small gap between one of the straps and the watch which my old straps didn't have and which will likely fill up with dirt and grime, but now I know how to take it apart and clean it. The gap is just what I notice. This does not affect the function of the belts. Eliminates the need to replace entire clocks so they're definitely worth $7.
