What I liked best about Simple Mind was that it allowed me to create my own personal map of concepts and ideas, which then could be exported to Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents. The software also allowed me to share my maps via e-mail with colleagues. Another great feature was the ability to export and save the maps as PDF files, which I could print and store in my briefcase. The software also gave me the ability to record and annotate the maps. In addition, I liked the fact that SimpleMind allows you to use different colors, fonts, shapes and sizes for different types of content, such as text boxes, pictures, tables and graphs. And, unlike other mind mapping programs, SimpleMind offers users a number of ways to arrange their diagrams: You can connect words, images and diagrams with arrows; you can draw freeform flow charts and organize them in hierarchies; you can combine various kinds of content into complex, multi-layered structures; and you can use your computer’s drawing abilities to draw circles, lines and rectangles. Also, because SimpleMind uses the Microsoft Windows operating system, you can access and edit your maps from any computer.
