Not for those trying to lead a chemical-free cosmetic life

You'd think Doterra would make an all-natural lotion based on essential oils. But I was disappointed to see that it had similar chemicals to the big brands on the shelf. What's the point of using pure essential oils if you mix them with chemicals and apply them to your skin so that the chemicals get absorbed into your body along with the essential oils? This defies the very purpose of natural healing, especially for those of us who suffer from allergies and other conditions where these chemicals are considered toxic at low levels. Although I have since become a Doterra Wellness Advisor on my journey to natural health, I cannot recommend their products that contain certain chemicals, no matter what explanation Doterra uses in their marketing. Whole Foods and other brands offer all-natural, chemical-free lotions and creams that I now use with my essential oils and I am completely happy with them and would recommend them. However, if you don't mind the chemicals in Doterra lotions, they will soften your skin. The packaging could be better to make it easier to pour the essential oils into the tube (a wider opening is best). But the dropper helps to introduce the EO into the small opening of the tube.
