It's not magic, but it works to a certain extent. For my non-iron clothes, which actually crease a bit, that makes a big difference, it's enough that they don't have to be ironed. For regular clothes that need ironing I don't see them removing the need for an iron if you want a really good result, but for everyday clothes that don't need to be perfect they help a little, possibly taking clothes with them out of routine. too crumpled to be acceptable. They're also great for making towels fluffier without using any chemical additives (which I really dislike) and without sacrificing their ability to absorb water. firm, but in my car it's a thump and not nearly as annoying as metal objects can be. I can recommend them within the above parameters, but if you need more I'm not so sure.
