Additional note after five months: I wear gray about 80% of the time and there is no cracking, delamination or plastic fading with special attention. the spot where the buckle is, as that area flexes and pulls a lot every time I put them on and off. One thing I noticed is that the painted metal buckle ring now has areas where the paint has been scraped off, revealing a gray metal that isn't very noticeable, especially since the buckle is typically on the palm of the wrist.
