Disintegrated after 3 months

In just 3 months this network has turned into a mess. I've always used metal mesh in the past. The installation on the rim takes a little time. You will need to use pliers to snap it back tight. But once that's done, they require almost no maintenance. Every once in a while one of the hooks holding the rim kind of comes off and needs to be put back on but other than that I've never had a problem with them until they get rusty which usually takes 3 to 5 years from them. . Until now. After about 2 months, the chain began to bind to the parallel chains. Then the links began to fall off completely, leaving the sections in tatters. Eventually, it captured a section on the other side of the network, effectively shutting it down. I unhooked it and tucked it back as best I could, but at that moment it was like trying to glue the torn pieces together. I don't know how you can make chain links so they mess things up, but they were.
