This light is everything I hoped for. Even better. I am only deducting one star because the installation guide is grossly inadequate and barely legible: if you have experience installing fittings then fine, but if you are a beginner go ahead. The best thing about this light, really AWESOME, is that the arms that hold the bulbs are fully adjustable in angle: you have all 360 degrees to play with each one, giving you a customized look that's too suits your location. I was hoping it was true, but the pictures don't show it. The arms don't collide because the posts supporting them from the wall are different lengths, which isn't apparent from the pictures yet. One is 4 inches long and the other is 5 inches long. The only potential conflict comes from the bulbs you put in when they are big. What bulbs you use also changes the look. The base on the wall is 6 inches wide. The screws holding it are clearly visible so when assembling make sure the support bar is perfectly aligned (or at any angle you like) or else it will ruin the look. The golden parts of the light are beautiful, more metallic than ductile. Gold is very warm, not coppery, but is moving in that direction. The black parts are what I would call a satin finish; Not shiny, but not matte either. I bought them to put on either side of the bathroom mirror used for makeup so I even have a light. When using them this way, I recommend positioning them closer to the mirror with your hand on a shorter stand. The longer post made me feel like it might be invading my space and poking me. It costs money to get something perfect for your space!
