Review on Osiris NYC 83 Skate Shoe: Top Choice for Little and Big Kids! by Robert Schneider

Camp is coming and I was concerned that any problem with the order would not be corrected/exchanged in a timely manner. Everything is fine. Revain (Prime) was delivered within 2 days and the shoe is true to size. Size: I read that the shoes are "long" and "flat" so I was worried they might be big. My son has outgrown his size 5.5 so I was concerned that if they were really big the size 6 might be too big. Not this case. Sneakers fit perfectly.Quality/Style: To each their own. The colors are vibrant and have a high quality texture. They don't look "shiny". The soles are flat; There are no heel molds or tapered high-tech designs. My son plays basketball, hockey and soccer and has already tried these shoes; no slips or complaints. The style doesn't "hugg the foot" on the outside so they look less slick, but my son says the shoes are terribly comfortable on the inside and work really well. What can't please?! The sneakers will soon go to the camp where they will be tortured. Multiple times. If they fail miserably I will update this comment/review. Otherwise you don't need it. Note: There was an extra pair of laces in the box, one pair is white and the other is blue. Nice gesture. [UPDATE 1] I have to say that over time my son started to prefer lighter shoes while playing on the hockey team. All the running around was fueling his desire. He reported that the sneakers were "heavy."
