Review on Optimized Packaging for Stomp Rocket Original Rockets by Tony Nicholas

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It's fun as long as they stay together, but it won't last long.

We really enjoyed launching these rockets for 10 minutes while keeping everything together. The base is three thin pieces of plastic that barely stick together, use tape and you can at least stick everything to a solid surface. Otherwise parts keep falling apart, not to mention the launcher keeps tipping over. A more serious problem concerns the plumage of the rocket. The kit we bought must have a defective adhesive or something as none of the fins stayed in place even after one run. A missile immediately fell off the stabilizers. Duct tape helped a bit again as I was able to painstakingly tap on a couple of fins that made the rockets fly much better. Although the kids still had fun without them, they were more like unguided rockets going in an unknown direction than rockets about to be launched. Even a 2 year old wondered why it wasn't working!
