These are great if you're not sure what brush size suits you best or what you're looking for. Large selection and great price. As long as the brushes don't fall out, that's good. Case is also very good. Now that I've been painting for a few weeks I have a better idea of what kind of brush I want to get and what I'm looking for in terms of quality. For example, I use a #6 brush a lot, but I need a narrower tip, so I buy a better quality #6 brush, but the rest of the brushes do the job I need them for now. That way, as a beginner, I don't spend a lot of money on brushes that I might rarely or never use (if that makes sense).
