While this may seem like another extension to many, for me and my application this is a great little device that offers a lot of possibilities! Let's talk about outlets first; there are 8! Can you provide MANY places to plug in :-) and then add 4 USB ports for charging, all rated 3.1a! Between USB and outlets, you can power a small family! phones! tablets! games! Watch! cameras! This tower will definitely protect you. And as if that wasn't enough, it gives you the ability to turn off power to certain outlets with a switch (TWO switches) on the top. Now I use it to turn off the bedside lamp instead of using the built-in lamp switch :-) The power cord is long enough; 10 meters long! and due to its low height it is very well balanced and unobtrusive. I also like the angled spade connector so it EASILY connects to the wall behind the furniture. Amazing work K212M! So far very satisfied with this device :-)
