Is the shield better? Don't know

This fan appears with the Lasko 2265QM if you search for 20" fans on the Revain website. They look pretty similar, so why does this fan cost so much less - $39 versus $62 for the B-air? Recently bought by everyone, here are my observations. Similarities: 1. Dimensions, turning capacity, weight. They appear to be built the same way from the start.2. Visible efficiency in moving air. Both have three speeds, both seem to release air well. In any case, the B-air seems to be a little stronger in a subjective test. But even that was subjective.3. Construction. Both have metal shrouds, metal blades, rubber dampers connecting the fan to the stand to reduce vibration, and grounded three-pronged connectors on the ends of heavy-duty cables. Differences that might explain the price difference: 1. Lasko has front speed control. The B-air speed controller is mounted directly on the engine and can only be operated from behind.2. Lasko comes with a stable wall mounting plate. B-air says it can be wall mounted but there is no bracket for it in the kit. You should find B air suspension devices. In addition, the Lasko switch on the front panel makes it easy to operate when wall mounted.3. The Lasko motor is covered with a plastic grille at the rear, while the B-air exposes the metal rear of the motor. Is the shield better? I do not know. One reviewer complains about hair being sucked into the B-Air engine. Maybe a sign would help. However, the screen is an additional expense and I think Lasko would not have fitted one on the back of their engine unless it was an advantage. 4. Lasko features swivel connectors to connect the two halves of the fan cover, making it easy to remove the cover and clean the blades without tools. The B-air has screws that hold the two halves of the scabbard together over the blade. Conclusion: This is nonsense. But the B-air has a surprising number of one-star reviews claiming the fan died within months of purchase, with a number of reviewers also claiming that the B-air is just a regular fan , which is sold under different names. Take a chance on the B-air and you'll be glad you did. If you want to hang your fan on the wall, use Lasko. Maybe in a year I'll know more about their reliability. Now it's difficult to judge, and Lasko is much more expensive. I say go with the B-air but if it breaks I'll be back with an update.
