A good designer for kids as a gift.

A good designer for children as a gift. The cute ice cream parlor idea is fun and unique. I haven't seen anything like this in the "famous brands" building block deals, so I thought we should give it a try. My daughters have always loved building sets and this is no exception. All parts were present and the instruction manual was nicely designed and easy to use. It wasn't too difficult to build, but it did require some basic block building skills. Lots of little details so take your time! The colors are great and the finished set was helpful for everyone! My only complaint is the two dresses included for wearing the minifigure. They are made of paper/cardboard or similar material and must be folded and collected. They don't last long and are a little tricky to assemble. Plastic clothes might be a better choice next time. It seems odd to skimp on something, but it doesn't break the deal in any way. Also, the minifigure is still wearing clothes underneath the dress. So if the paper dresses are lost or damaged, that's okay. This would make a great gift and I have no doubt the recipient is a block fanatic!

Pros
  • Learning While Playing: Assembling is a full-body exercise that helps children develop fine motor skills, language skills, thinking and problem-solving skills. Develop more self-confidence.
Cons
  • Difficult to say
