I bought one at the mall for $100 five or six years ago. My daughter dropped it and broke the ceramic plate and I used it for years because I didn't want to pay another $100 for an iron. My daughter kept asking for one so I decided to get her one for Christmas and was shocked to see the price had fallen so much! Mad at myself for using a stupid broken one for so long! I bought her one and later bought this one for myself. Both are the same quality as the one I paid $100 for. They work as expected, have super fast heat up which I like. Great flat iron for the price, it doesn't get any better than this!
