These batteries will push your buttons

As with others who have received them through Vine, it's too early to report on their lifespan. I haven't found any sources online comparing them to other brands. I see no need for further investigations at the moment. Purchasing these batteries inspired me to learn more about alkaline batteries than I ever thought possible. Now I will saddle my riding horse. What they fail to mention is that CFCs were banned in the US decades ago. But you think buying this glass is good for the environment. This is one of the many ways companies falsely differentiate themselves from their competitors. This is the use of good nature, ignorance and people's attachment to symbolic gestures. With that in mind, let's take a look at these GoGreen batteries. I hate to burst the bubble of all those well-meaning people who are so enthusiastic about these batteries because they're GREEN. I tell you GREEN! But let's start. Let's compare these to Duracell and Rayovac, two of the most popular brands. Since they have almost the same stats, we group them as OG (Other Guys). GoGreen becomes GG.Claim.GG.OGMercury-Free.Yes.Yes (for 20 years) Lead-Free.Yes.Yes (Lead-acid (car) batteries contain lead) Cadmium-Free.Yes.Yes (they are not Ni Cads) ! ) Made in the USA. Yes. Yes. Recyclable. Yes. Yes (sort of. See below.) Expiry date. .Yes.NO If you don't have this flag, you don't like America. GoGreen supports VetsCanDo. A quick look at their website and they don't seem to be doing much. It was last updated 3 years ago. When it comes to recycling, there aren't many recyclable alkaline batteries out there. This is not the same as recycling single-ingredient items such as aluminum cans. In their copy, they point out that the batteries do not contain any substances that are harmful to the environment. And they also state on their website that shipping batteries has a carbon footprint. Sorting, transporting, separating and cleaning different materials has a carbon footprint. In fact, it can be worse for the environment. These marketing strategies may be common, but that doesn't make them acceptable. GoGreen batteries deserve the "shameful discharge". degradation.
