Anyone who knows me knows that I am involved with green products and ideas, as well as 'alternative energy sources' and 'planning for the future when fossil fuels are exhausted'. Batteries seem to fit into many of these categories. But are they really recyclable as advertised? You can recycle them for free on iRecycled.com, but only after earning at least 75 points - 1 point per battery. .So I have to buy 27 more batteries to qualify for the program. And is the program really a good, greenโ€ฆ

Disposal is a hassle, but batteries are worth considering

One of the best ways to try a new battery is by putting it in an electronic device. So many of our electronics are rechargeable, but my son has a Leap Pad that uses AA batteries. The perfect exam! If the battery is not large, an electronic device like the Leap Pad will quickly run out. I gave them to my son and sent him to change the batteries in his Leap Pad. Then we spent the day in the hospital waiting room. Although he wasn't on the Leap Pad all day, he used it quite often. And theseโ€ฆ

These batteries will push your buttons

As with others who have received them through Vine, it's too early to report on their lifespan. I haven't found any sources online comparing them to other brands. I see no need for further investigations at the moment. Purchasing these batteries inspired me to learn more about alkaline batteries than I ever thought possible. Now I will saddle my riding horse. What they fail to mention is that CFCs were banned in the US decades ago. But you think buying this glass is good for the environmentโ€ฆ
