Good product! in spare parts

So far, so good! Everything went perfectly! Just some general guidelines: - Do not tighten the thermostat housing bolts to the correct torque; Aluminum threads do not hold. You will tear the strings! Just pull them all the way down and then give them an extra 1/8 to 1/4 turn. This pump comes with metal seals. In the place where the pump connects to the engine, you do not need any other sealant. Just make sure you clean the contact surfaces thoroughly. You may need a blade and then some acetone or rubbing alcohol. This pump comes with new screws, o-ring and paper gasket for the thermostat housing. If you purchased a replacement T-Stat, you also received an O-ring with your T-Stat. Use new bolts and an o-ring OR a paper gasket. I used the o-ring that came with my new T-Stat. If you decide to use a paper gasket you will need a sealant (not included), probably RTV. And something else! - If your car is equipped with a fan clutch that fits on the water pump pulley, you can rent a key. from AutoZone, but they no longer have tools to hold the pulley in place (at least where I live). Instead, use a medium or small clamp on the trailing edge of the pulley, it rests against the water pump and will be held as you turn the fan clutch nut. DO NOT do this on a new pump! Also, I've heard that if you remove the fan from the pulley while the serpentine belt is still on and tensioned, you don't need to hold the pulley in any other way. The belt and drag from all other pulley components will prevent the water pump pulley from rotating.
