I only give these knee pads 4 stars for stability as they are not stabilizers. Don't buy them for that. They provide support and warmth to relieve knee pain while recovering from an injury or treating arthritis. I've been telling strangers about it and I'm planning to send a set to my brother. I started with a stabilizer, then progressed to these sleeves and only use them occasionally now. I'm so happy I tried NEENCA. They're a little chunky, but feel so good I didn't mind. Even though it's hot in Florida, the best pain reliever on aching knees is heat. They stayed up all day at work with a little twitch or two. I went for the smaller of the two sizes I was considering and was happy with the fit. They were tight but not tight. I would recommend them to anyone with knee pain.
