Since there are no instructions, I really can't recommend it. However, they work and I'm not sure it really matters how much water or vinegar you add. It also doesn't matter how long you let them heat up. If the microwave still doesn't wipe after turning it on, I just add another minute or so. If you don't like the smell of vinegar, just use water and you'll actually get the same result. Just use a glass measuring cup and you'll get the same result, at least for me. They have an attraction factor and they have a storage factor against them.
