Spend some time and find out if this scanner is right for your needs

I spent hours of research to determine if this scanner model is the best fit for my needs. It also appears to be identical to the similarly priced Ancel scanner. The company has so many scanners and they all seem to do different things with no clear sequence of extras. For example, better and more expensive scanners can't do what this scanner does, but they have other capabilities that aren't entirely clear. Many initials and abbreviations are used without explanation of their meaning. Even if you visit the Foxwell website, they are bad at explaining the clear difference between their scanners. That's the main reason I deducted a star. That being said, the main job I bought it for seems to have done a good job of diagnosing the airbag indicator. They use the term MIL for this indicator, which is an example of the initials I had to look up to determine that MIL stands for "Malfunction Indicator". Until I have more issues with my device, I cannot fully assess whether or not this scanner is performing to its full potential. But the company seems to be responsive to email inquiries and the device seems well made and works as it should which is why I gave it 4 stars.
