While researching power adapters and solar panels I came across a review that mentioned cheap USB cables can limit charging speeds. I needed more anyway and I like their color and they are rated for 2.4 amps. Although I don't have any test devices, I checked their quality in other ways. I have a Kindle that I would plug into my computer's USB port to transfer files. It always talks about charging (but the low-power charger), but even with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off, it never charges, but the battery slowly drains. I then connected the Kindle (with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disabled) to the same port on the computer. with one of these cables. The Kindle still complains about being plugged into a low-wattage charger, but it charges. Slow, but the complaint about the underpowered charger is true, not the cable's fault. These cables are definitely better than my old cable and allow charging where my old cable wouldn't. Transferring data with these cables works great, but I haven't done it. any speed test.
