Review on πŸš€ Experience Power and Speed with AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor by Stanisaw Socha ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Motherboard - ASUS x370 Prime RAM - HyperX 2400Mhz SSD - Samsung 750EVO 120gb Chassis cooling - Thermalright - TY 140 x1, X-Silent 120 x2. With a slight overclock to 3.4 GHz with a DeepCool Gammax S40 cooler and Arctic Cooling MX-4 thermal paste, the temperatures are as follows: - simple - 28-32 degrees - load - 48 pounds - heavy stress test CPU+FPU+Cache+AVX (LynX, Aida, etc.) temperature not higher than 57 degrees. And all this on an inexpensive cooler for 1500! Performance in working with video, 3D, working with databases - five! It heats up at the level of my i5-2300, despite the fact that Intel has 4 threads, AMD has 16 threads! I recommend it for purchase to those who want to get an inexpensive WORKSTATION, with the ability to play comfortably. If you have money, then you can look at the 2022-3 platform, but the cost of components there is 2 times more expensive, and the performance gain is not 2 times . Well, for toys it's better to buy i7. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase so far, with the exception of the crooked BIOS on the motherboard. But after ating to version 052022, everything seems to be working relatively stably.

Pros
  • Performance in multi-core mode Temperature The smoothness of the picture in games - there are no friezes or stutters, unlike the I5. It provides the minimum FPS at the Intel level, so you won’t notice much of a difference.
Cons
  • In games and some applications from Adobe, where there is no scalability for more than 2-4 threads (cores), it loses to the i7 6700 / 7700 and is compared with the i5 7600. The platform is still raw - BIOS ates come often.
