The part where you insert the shower head is quite small and doesn't hold my shower head. The whole block is plastic. Also, only hand-tighten. I used the tool and it broke into pieces. I believe it's designed to not require duct tape either. I installed 5 old school shower heads that day and this was the last one and I mistakenly assumed I would install it the same way. Guilty. So this might be just what you need, but for me it was a disaster. I no longer have access to this to measure the size of the shower head handle, which unfortunately will be necessary. Just notice that he's smaller.
