One of my standard halogen low beam bulbs has blown on my Honda Accord. I compared Alla Lighting LED lamps with standard halogen lamps. In terms of cost, they weren't much more expensive. A good set of halogen bulbs costs $30. Alla Lighting LEDs cost $50. Since I was going to have to buy a new set of bulbs anyway, the $20 difference in price was negligible. The extra $20 was the best money I've ever spent. I've replaced the stock H11 low beam bulbs with LEDs but still use the old halogens in the high beams. We had a big snowstorm last night. It was 9 p.m. and the snow was falling at a rate of a few inches an hour. The wind was blowing and I was 70 miles from home. I've been in similar situations before and the drive home was always a nightmare. In the past, even the edges of the road were difficult to see with standard bulbs. Like most people, historically the best course of action was to find a big truck, hide behind it, and follow it, hoping it would stay on the road. , blizzard, blizzard, my vision was perfect. The lamps are not only significantly brighter than conventional LED lamps, they also shine at a very wide angle and thus ensure good visibility over the entire width of the road. There is no feeling of driving through a narrow light tunnel, as is often the case at night when the weather is bad. These bulbs illuminate everything in front of you as well as the roadsides in front of you. We are planning a 3,000 mile Thanksgiving trip next week and I have ordered both a low (H11) and high (9005) high beam for my Chevy Suburban. As soon as I lose one of the old high beam halogen bulbs on my Accord I will be replacing those bulbs with Alla Lighting LEDs as well. UPDATE: I ordered a second set of these lights for my 2015 Suburban. Apparently, LED headlight bulbs can cause interference in the car's electrical systems. I had no problems with my 2013 Accord but had ongoing problems installing them on my Suburban. The active fuel management system was not working properly and my cruise control stopped working during the installation. I put my factory bulbs back in and both problems are gone. I then installed Alla Lighting LED bulbs in my 2017 Camaro where they worked well.
