My 26 year old Grayson loves this product! He knows what food is GOOD FOR HIM! In the cockatiel world, younger thiels follow the lead of older, more mature adult birds. They are extremely intelligent and intuitive birds; especially if you spend time with them and treat them like children. This way they know what to expect in your and their family life. I have rescued and kept cockatiels from people who couldn't and wanted their cats to have good homes. We also bought a lot from breeders (there were up to 23 at the same time). This type of bird is as close to a "dog" as you can get. Very sensitive to please when treated responsibly. With good treatment, you only lose them to disease (cancer) or microbial infections. The rest (9) are between 6 and 26 years old!
