Review on WHITIN Men's Minimalist Barefoot Treadmill Sneakers by Chris Litton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great unbranded minimalist shoe Price

I have been running minimalist style including track, treadmill, trail and road for several years. I started with Five Fingers and Vapor 3 but was disappointed with the high prices. A pair of Tesla BK30s were good but felt very tight (Asian foot?). And none of them were tough enough to handle the Yak-Trax, which is pretty much essential for outdoor running in Michigan winters. I've run ten miles in the snow and worked out on the treadmill in these WHITINs and have nothing but good things to say. Roomy toe box, no heel lift, good profile, slightly cushioned arch (just enough to feel but doesn't affect performance, and the insole is removable) and a sole tough enough to handle my Yak Trax with ease. There is enough tread to handle slightly slippery conditions while still maintaining a good "road feel". And the price is simply unbeatable. Time will tell how strong they are but at this price I can buy three pairs for the price of a pair of Five Fingers or Vapors.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Can I add something
