Review on Alpine S S50 5 25 Inch Coaxial Speakers by James Newbill
The magnet is large, you may need a spacer to clear the window. Easy to make with 3/4 plywood.
Worked great for my application in a '98 Subaru Forester, they are powered by a KTP-445U Alpine amp, sound good, 5 1/4 speakers are very clear, bass is pretty good, me too have an Amp welcome filter on to make sure I don't overdrive them. Can be used without amp for factory replacement. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to fill 5 1/4 holes in doors.
