I was looking for a night light that my 3 year old could turn on and off by himself and that wouldn't disturb his sleep. That's great! It attaches directly to his headboard (I don't think it will work with a thicker headboard but it works fine with ours - about 1" thick), he knows how to press a button to turn it on and off off, and the amber light means it won't be irritated by bright light when it's on. The fact that it can be plugged in for charging is an added bonus - it will leave it on all day and all night if I let it, and with the cable I've managed to convince it (so far) that it can. Don't carry it around (or you'll kill the battery haha). Love it!
